At Calvert Rainbow Alliance, Inc., we proudly carry forward the vision and legacy of our late founding member, Danny Malay-Miller, the unapologetic heart behind the Rainbow Backpack Project.
Danny believed that everyone deserves to be seen, supported, and safe. His compassion and bold activism live on through the work we do today, especially in our efforts to serve the hidden homeless population of Southern Maryland—many of whom are LGBTQ+.

With your support, we’ll continue to distribute these life-saving backpacks and grow our reach. We are calling on:
Donations of funds, goods, or services are all welcome.
We’ve established the Danny Malay-Miller Memorial Fund to ensure this work continues for years to come.
